CSIR UGC NET (conducted by NTA) is the national eligibility test for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in science subjects. It is a single 3-hour computer-based test worth 200 marks in three parts — Part A (general aptitude, common to all), Part B (subject core) and Part C (analytical & application) — held for five subjects: Life, Chemical, Physical, Mathematical and Earth Sciences.
